WHAT AREAS DOES STATKUS ARCHITECTURE WORK IN?
Being based in Northcote, we love to work within inner Melbourne, but happy to work throughout Victoria. Over the years, we have focussed a lot of our attention to owner occupied houses, primarily single house extension and renovations, but also multi residential, holiday homes, units, mixed use developments, townhouses, restaurants, bars and shops.
HOW IS STATKUS ARCHITECTURE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER FIRMS?
In a world of increasing sameness, we look to avoid architectural trends of the moment. We look for what's unique about our clients, their briefs, the site and ultimately what might be possible for specific, responsive built outcomes that will endure for many years and decades.
DOES STATKUS ARCHITECTURE HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH OLD BUILDINGS & HERITAGE STRUCTURES?
Yes we do. Having worked on many 1880s Victorian buildings, stables, Edwardian homes, Federation homes, Californian Bungalows, Post War buildings we are well experienced in the complexities of working on these types of buildings.
